On October 9, 2025, Rotary Club of Calgary West members Chris Ritter, Chris Estrella, and Garfield and Cheryl Ganong attended the Children’s Cottage Society’s “Cocktails for the Cottage” event. The group toured the facility with Paula Bannerman, promoted the Select, Sip & Savor Wine Raffle with Rae Fehr, and shared raffle QR code cards with guests — a great evening of fellowship and community partnership.
On Friday, October 9, 2025, members of the Rotary Club of Calgary West attended the Children’s Cottage Society’s “Cocktails for the Cottage” event in support of vulnerable children and families in Calgary. Representing the Club were President Chris Ritter, Chris Estrella, and Garfield and Cheryl Ganong.
The evening, held from 5:30 to 9:00 p.m., offered an engaging opportunity to connect with community leaders and supporters of the Children’s Cottage Society. The group was warmly welcomed and received a guided tour from Paula Bannerman, Manager of Volunteer Programs, who shared insights into the organization’s vital work and the impact of its programs.
Throughout the evening, the Club also promoted its Select, Sip & Savor Wine Raffle, with Director of Development Rae Fehr helping to raise awareness among attendees. Members handed out business cards featuring a QR code linking directly to the raffle website, encouraging guests to participate and support Rotary’s fundraising initiatives.
This event was a wonderful blend of fellowship, community engagement, and partnership — reflecting Rotary’s ongoing commitment to supporting local organizations that strengthen families and create brighter futures for children in need.
