District Governor Visit

Steve worked for 33-years in marketing and management career in Agriculture. Steve with his wife Pat went with other Rotarians for 3 weeks to Uganda and did volunteer work in the specialties of agriculture, education and health. Steve and Pat served a volunteer mission for one and a half years in St. Lucia in the lower Caribbean. Shortly after their return in 2017 they had the unfortunate experience of losing their oldest granddaughter in a vehicle accident then early in 2020 they lost one of their youngest granddaughters in a swimming accident. This has been quite devastating to their family but the parents of these children and they have turned to service to take away some of the pain and to honor these girls. In conjunction with their local Rotary club they have participated in fund-raising, and service opportunities with a student service club with their local Indigenous Reservation. They have also participated in other service activities such as blankets for babies, honoring health providers and at local schools promoting Look up Ad’s to promote less media and more interpersonal time. He is a member of the Rotary Club of Raymond and is the District Governor Nominee 2010 / 2021. Steve is married to Pat, and has five children and fourteen grandchildren
