On the bright and bustling morning of Friday, July 4, 2025, the Rotary Club of Calgary West once again hosted its much-anticipated Annual Calgary Stampede Parade Breakfast and Seating Event in downtown Calgary. From 7:00 AM to noon, the club welcomed hundreds of guests to a prime viewing area along the parade route and treated them to a hearty Stampede-style breakfast.
Dedicated volunteers from our Club, their friends, and our dedicated Rotary youth exchange students arrived early to prepare and serve a delicious meal featuring pancakes, sausages, and all the trimmings. The energy was high as guests arrived in western wear, excited for the morning’s festivities.
Bleacher seating offered some of the best views of the Stampede Parade, and the event drew in locals and tourists alike. An extra fundraising boost came from the enthusiastic sale of Rotary-branded cowboy hats, which became a popular souvenir for guests eager to get into the Stampede spirit.
The Rotary Club of Calgary West extends its sincere thanks to all volunteers, including Rotary youth exchange students, club members, and their friends who pitched in with smiles and teamwork. We are also deeply grateful to our event suppliers and partners for their contributions and support, including Seating U, SS106 Aperitivo Bar and Mr P Potty.
Thanks to the incredible teamwork and community spirit, this year’s event was another great success — raising funds to support Rotary programs and service projects throughout the year.
