The Never Too Late program at Catholic Family Service provides no-cost academic, social and emotional support to adult learners who want to complete their GED (General Education Development or high school equivalency). Learning occurs in community with a cohort of students who share the same dream: to become a high school graduate.
Never Too Late learners receive 3-4 hours of instruction, twice a week, from qualified educators, with access to volunteer tutors outside of class time. Classes provide a safe, fun, and positive learning environment, while the Never Too Late Coordinator works side-by-side with participants to identify and overcome any barriers to completing their GED. The results: improved self-esteem, confidence, participation in community, and higher success rates for adults who write the GED exam.
