Established in 1965, the organization prepares and delivers nutritious, affordable meals to individuals and families while supporting health, independence, and community connection. Today, it delivers thousands of meals each day through its Home Delivery, School Nutrition, and Community programs.
The tour provided an opportunity to see firsthand how meals are planned, prepared, and distributed. Members were impressed by the size of the operation, the dedication of staff and volunteers, and the organization's commitment to ensuring that nutritious food is accessible to all Calgarians who need support.
